The Hard Way #4

Hello everyone and welcome to the fourth instalment of The Hard Way, it’s been an eventful past week or so and I got a few thoughts I need to get off my chest. So let’s start with what is just about the biggest talking point in wrestling right now, of course I am talking about TNA and there venture into an ECW reunion show. Now firstly let me say I am not a big fan of the original ECW I think there was many great matches in the promotion but I am not a fan of hardcore for hardcore’s sake and I think that is in general what ECW was. Now that is just my opinion and I get that people have fond memories of that promotion. Now I cede that in my not being a homer for this company may have had a massive impact on my not being overly fussed when ECW came back, and also in my opinion why after they stopped trying to recreate ECW and started using it as almost a televised developmental that it was enjoyable to watch. I mean think to yourself how many people at the top end of the card now have started there WWE careers on WWECW, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne & current WWE Champion Sheamus to name but a few.

Now I don’t want to get off point here so back to the latest ECW venture brought to you by TNA now while I am looking forward to the PPV itself(the nostalgia and novelty of it have got me interested) I think that this is a really stupid fucking idea. TNA really need to concentrate on making the everyday wrestling fan want to watch their programming, giving away a month of TV time and a 3 hour PPV is that going to help. I won’t lie I have really enjoyed the past couple of months of TNA, whether it be the formation of Fortune, RVD as world champion or the Machine Guns & Beer Money Inc matches. So it’s not that I don’t watch and enjoy the product. I just don’t understand why they have done this it is a really bad idea and a cheap attempt to try and pop a PPV buy, which their own product has failed to do the past couple of months. This stinks of desperation and I really hate it because I don’t want TNA to fail I want it to prosper as I believe that competition brings out the best in the WWE and to have two companies flying high pumping out quality content would be any wrestling fans dream. I already said I am looking forward to the PPV but that is all, I really hope that after this PPV and “whole F’N Show” iMPACT special we are done with ECW. Employ some of the guys sure but afterwards just concentrate on making TNA the best it can be because that’s all anyone expects. Again it’s just my opinion but I honestly believe TNA biggest critics are themselves

Well that about all I got please feel free to let me know what you liked what you hated I can only improve this if you tell me what you think any messages will be taken onboard please feel free to contact me by Email on adambrown@fromheadlockstoheadlines.com

I thank you for taking your time to listen to me this was The Hard Way and I am out.

After the final break JJ played the big suprise from Comic Con regarding the Macho Man and Mattel, also a clip from "Hogan and friends"concerning Hogans side of the Macho/Hogan fued....both JJ and Trey found the comments to be somewhat suspect so the boys closed out the show encouraging Hogan to "Be a Man".
