Synopsis For Chris Jericho's WWE DVD

Source:PWInsider.com

Below is the first official DVD cover and synopsis for WWE’s new three-disc DVD set on Chris Jericho, which comes out on September 28th. The DVD is titled “Breaking The Code: Behind The Walls Of Chris Jericho.”

The WWE fans love to hate Chris Jericho. Throughout his remarkable career he has provided sports entertainment fans with amazing matches and astounding moments whether he was in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, ECW, WCW, and WWE. He’s also left his mark on the entertainment industry outside the ring, from his band Fozzy, writing a NY Times bestselling autobiography, through his appearances on VH-1’s “I Love…” shows and his role in the hit film “Magruber”. But his most famous moments are in sports entertainment, where Jericho has won multiple championships, including the WWE, World Heavyweight, a record number of Intercontinental titles, and the night when he defeated both the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin to become the first ever WWE Unified Champion. But Chris Jericho has never had his remarkable career highlighted in a DVD set until now. This 3-disc release will include a never-before-seen documentary on the life and times of Jericho featuring new candid interviews with Jericho and his rivals, as well as more than a dozen of his greatest matches.

*Spoiler* Results For NXT 8/3/10

The show opens with the Pros on the stage and the Rookies coming to the ring. Matt Striker announces there will be a kissing contest tonight hosted by Layla and Michelle McCool.

* Husky Harris is up first for the kissing contest. McCool tells him to kiss her but he has to think about it. McCool interrupts his thinking and brings out Laredo’s own Margarita and out comes a fat Mexican woman. All the Rookies kissed her and as picked by her, Lucky Cannon was the winner. LayCool tell the Rookies that they each just won herpes.

* Husky Harris beats Kaval.

* Backstage segment with Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicutty talking about fighting The Miz. Lucky Cannon comes in and says he wants to face Miz. Miz is watching everything and accepts the challenge to face the winner of McGillicutty vs. Lucky.

* Michael McGillicutty defeats Lucky Cannon.

* Alex Riley defeated Percy Watson.

* The Miz defeated Michael McGillicutty in the main event. This was the best match of the night.

Report: WWE Looking For Team Raw Vs Team Nexus To Draw Big

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

WWE is hoping that the RAW vs. Nexus match will be a big draw for the Summerslam card. This could change between now and the show, but officials were planning the finish and trying to decide which member of Team RAW would cost their team the match.

Report: Homicide Injured

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Homicide is out of action with a groin pull and is trying to rehab the injury. Homicide doesn’t want to have surgery because he would have to pay for it out of his own money since TNA doesn’t cover things like that. When Hernandez had his neck surgery, TNA loaned him the money but took a percentage of his paycheck each week to pay back the costs.

*Spoiler* Title Change On WWE Smackdown

At last night's WWE Smackdown Tapings, Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston to become the new Intercontinental Champion. This is Ziggler's first singles title in WWE.

Undertaker's Attacker Revealed On Smackdown

At last nights WWE Smackdown tapings which will air on 6/9, Rey Mysterio revealed it was Kane who attacked the Undertaker a few weeks back. Undertaker has been off TV since being injured by Rey Mysterio in a number one contender match.

*Spoiler* Results For WWE Smackdown 9/6/10

The show opens with Rey Mysterio. Rey says he did not take out The Undertaker. Drew McIntyre comes out and says he’s going to take out Mysterio just like he did to Christian last week. Rey accepts Drew’s challenge for the main event.

* Cody Rhodes defeated Matt Hardy.

* A backstage segment with Layla, Michelle McCool and Teddy Long. Teddy demands they
give up one of the belts and Michelle does. LayCool argues and break the other belt.
* Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Ziggler got help from Vickie Guerrero in the match. Kofi attacks Dolph after the match and beats him up bad.

* CM Punk, Serena, Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows come out. Punk shows footage of them
beating up Big Show last week and brags about it. Punk cuts a promo on his fellow SES members.

* Punk, Gallows and Mercury defeat the team of MVP, JTG and Chris Masters. Good match here with Gallows getting the win for his team.

* Teddy Long and Jack Swagger had a backstage segment. Swagger blamed all his troubles with Kane on Teddy. I think this may have been a segment for arena viewers only since they referenced the dark main event.

* Rey Mysterio defeated Drew McIntyre in the main event with a rollup. This was the best match for SmackDown of the night.

* After the match Kane comes down and there’s a casket. Rey escapes from Kane and says he didn’t take out Undertaker and reveals that Kane was the attacker. SmackDown ends with Kane staring up to the sky for a long time, crying or laughing to himself.
